The Association for Media Awareness - Nova Scotia is for educators, parents, media professionals and media consumers interested in the impact of media on modern life, culture and education.

Association for Media Literacy - Ontario
The goal of the AML is to promote the understanding of culture and technology through media education. AML seeks to do this through education of students, teachers, and the public; through lobbying governments and media industries; and through networking with those with shared concerns in education, business, government, media, and community organizations.

Parent Previews -- Movie Ratings for Parents and Kids
This site reviews and evaluates current release and classic movies on the basis of content and quality. Includes parent discussion questions, content listings, and alternate viewing suggesstions.

Media Awareness Network
A bilingual website dedicated to media literacy among young people. This site contains a wide range of copyright cleared resources to help teachers integrate media literacy and web literacy into their classrooms. Resources include: over 150 elementary and secondary lesson plans; downloadable games and teacher's guides; an electronic "vertical file" of newspaper articles; current statistics and industry information; and an extensive issues section on Privacy, Portrayal of Diversity, Ownership, Cultural Sovereignty, the Internet and Media Violence.

Media Literacy Saskatchewan
Their goal is to locate resources on the World Wide Web, including lesson plans, and similar organizations around the world. Their mandate is to support teachers who wish to teach media literacy skills in the classroom.
