Outreach & Membership, Past President Wayne Blair lives in Edmonton, Alberta. He and his wife have six children and five grandchildren. He is a successful results-oriented independent professional educator with extensive experience in K - Grade 12 and post-secondary education. He has training and experience in strategic planning, curriculum development, management and a wide variety of media and information technologies such as: print, radio, film, television, computer software, telecommunications, libraries, distance education, media education and information systems. Wayne's proven skills include: leadership, management, consultation, strategic planning survey methods, questionnaire design, curriculum development, training, teaching, and visioning of educational features. He has recently completed Three Year District Educational Technology Plans and/or Audits for ten Manitoba, Alberta and B.C. School Districts, conducted a provincial survey of all school superintendents for Alberta Education on the topic of multimedia needs for the next 3 - 5 years, and conducted over 30 two-day Technology Planning Workshops across Alberta.
